As a Civil Engineer, you will be expected to:
Oversee day-to-day construction site activities
Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing project phases
Monitor site works to ensure alignment with design specifications
Manage labor teams, site supervisors, and subcontractors
Ensure project progress aligns with timelines and quality standards
Conduct regular site inspections to identify and correct issues
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and government entities
Supervise excavation, concrete work, masonry, and finishing stages
Track inventory of materials and ensure efficient usage
Prepare reports on progress, delays, safety compliance, and inspections
Assist with billing, BOQ (Bill of Quantities), and estimation if needed
Ensure all activities comply with Dubai Municipality and local regulations
To qualify for this role, you should have:
A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution
1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in site engineering or construction supervision
Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and techniques
Familiarity with Dubai Municipality codes and UAE building regulations
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Ability to read technical drawings and translate them into site instructions
Basic understanding of project management tools like MS Project or Primavera (optional)
Fluency in English; Hindi/Urdu/Arabic is a plus
UAE driving license (optional, but preferred)
Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
Ability to multitask and manage small to medium-sized teams
Willingness to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
